A legal disclaimer

Effective from 1 June 2025.

By booking a trip with Coast Club Thailand, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment

All guests are required to sign a liability waiver before joining the trip. Surfing and related beach activities involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your own safety. Coast Club Thailand is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages incurred during the trip, including but not limited to surf sessions, transportation, meals, or free-time activities.

2. Insurance Requirement

Guests must have their own travel and/or health insurance. Coast Club Thailand does not provide insurance of any kind and is not liable for any costs related to medical treatment, evacuation, or personal losses.

3. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

Our trips include services provided by third-party partners (e.g., surf schools, restaurants, transportation providers). While we work with trusted professionals, Coast Club Thailand is not legally responsible for service quality, food safety, or any incidents that occur through these providers.

4. Equipment Damage & Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to rented surfboards or other equipment. Loss or theft of personal items during the trip is the sole responsibility of the guest. Please secure valuables accordingly.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to our pre-booking obligations with partners, trip cancellations are non-refundable. However, in the case of a documented emergency or valid reason, we may issue a voucher of equal value, redeemable within 12 months. This is subject to approval and cannot be guaranteed in all cases.

6. Weather Conditions

Our surf trips operate during Thailand’s surf season (May to October/November) and will proceed in all normal weather conditions, including rain. Trips are only canceled in the event of extreme weather or dangerous storms. In such cases, a full refund will be provided. Rain alone is not grounds for cancellation or refund.

7. Health & Medical Declaration

Guests must confirm they are medically fit for physical activities such as surfing. Any pre-existing conditions should be disclosed in advance. Coast Club Thailand reserves the right to refuse participation for safety reasons if a guest is unfit for the trip.

8. Media Use Consent

By joining a trip, you consent to being photographed or filmed during the experience. Coast Club Thailand may use these materials for promotional purposes, including website, social media, and marketing campaigns. If you wish not to be featured, please notify our staff before the trip begins.

9. Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. By booking a trip, you agree not to pursue legal claims against Coast Club Thailand, its staff, or its partners for incidents covered in these terms.
